Snr Estimator – Main Contractor

Key Duties:

  • Reviewing Tender documents, Conducting Site visits, Evaluation/vetting of Sub Contractor & supplier quotes, Construction Methodology.
  • Preparing Estimates in CCS (Direct & Indirect) for Buildings, EPC and Infrastructure Developments for Management review.
  • Evaluating potential Risk & Opportunities.
  • Coordination with Quantity Surveyor/s, Planning, Technical Team, Operations & Contracts during pre & post tender stage.
  • Attend negotiation meetings, coordination with client during pre & post tender.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years Main Contracting experience with at least 3 years spent in KSA.
  • Degree qualified ideally.
  • Extensive experience using CCS/Candy software.
  • Knowledge of tendering for similar type projects in the Infrastructure/EPC/Buildings sectors
  • Strong Communication skills and a willingness to “roll their sleeves up” and be hands on initially.

Operations Mgr – Contractor

Our client, a prominent Main Contractor in Saudi Arabia, seeks a Construction Operations Manager to join their team. This role involves overseeing project schedules, organizing resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Duties:

  • Develop and execute project execution strategies, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and cost management for timely project completion.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Manager and project commercial teams to establish and oversee operational budgets.
  • Enhance organizational effectiveness by refining processes and policies to align with company objectives and international standards.

Senior Planning Manager (Saudi National)

We are working with a Developer on a Giga Project in a remote area of Western KSA. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Senior Planning Manager.

This person must be a Saudi National.

The role / responsibilities:

  • Managing resourcing, growing, and developing the planning team as and when required.
  • Managing a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for staff development.
  • Supporting senior management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development or alliance development projects.
  • Collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders, building trusting and respectful relationships.
  • Managing the application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques, and tools including the latest software such as Primavera P6 or others .
  • Working knowledge of planning/scheduling, EVM, and project control methodologies.
  • Advising on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
  • Manage planning/scheduling delivery of medium/high complexity projects/programs.
  • Being able to play a key role in multidisciplinary teams and take a lead role in creating plans or analyzing trends using numerical and statistical techniques.

Principal Engineer – Structural (UAE)

We are working with a Western Consultancy, who are looking to hire a Principal Engineer – Structural, for their Dubai Office.
In this role you will be working closely with Design teams to support clients on various projects in the Middle East and UK.

The Role / Experience Required;

  • Structural Engineering background / exposure – understanding of structural load paths.
  • Consultancy experience is essential for this role.
  • Technical / design management of structural packages (both permanent and temporary works.)
  • On-site experience as part of a team delivering complex structures.
  • Autonomously run the technical aspects of a project including Client, Contractor, and Design Team
    Coordination.
  • Understand the commercial aspects of a project (contracts, invoicing, variations etc.)
  • Manage the production of 2D sequencing drawings, 3D models, and 4D sequencing
    models (prepared by the VDC/BIM team.)
  • Analyse, programme, and sequence the construction of concrete/steel structures.
