Signed contract to deliver 14 Pedestrian bridges across Accra and the surrounding areas. This contract is working for the Department of Urban Roads of Ghana.

Can you push for the highest standards of workmanship whilst liaising with all stakeholders. Can you build relationships and ensure that any delays or speedbumps are removed in country. 

 

Projects delivered across the World 

  • Plate Girder Bridge
  • Suspension
  • Beam Bridge
  • Panel Pedestrian Bridges

Reporting directly into the Director of Projects based outside of Africa. This project in Ghana has 18-20 Months on the program so the plan would be to relocate you onto the next projects in Africa to fir the business needs. This is a strategic appointment to place a strong foothold in Africa for further projects that the business are in current negotiations on.

You will have full exposure to planning, technical management , client coordination and quality on site looking after the full contract, below gives you an overview for responsibilities 

  • Overseas daily operations and provide strategic advise
  • Manage the quality and workmanship of the local sub-contractors on site
  • Manage and push the highest standards of QHSE
  • Monitor, manage , track and record progress and contractual issues as they arise

 

Client is seeking the following:

  • Clear experience having worked in Ghana
  • If you don’t have experience in Ghana West Africa is desired
  • Exposure & experience on bridges & civil works
  • Project Manager that can program, trouble shoot, manage technical queries and work closely with a client to achieve success on site
  • Civil Engineering Degree desired & strong technical awareness
  • Able to start on site in Ghana before the 18th of November 2024
