Role:
To manage the overall installation of Electro-Mechanical works relevant to your appointed contract/areas and measure the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery team ensuring the works are carried out within the relevant cost and QA/QC requirements indicated within the specifications and business guidelines.
Duties:
- Manage the daily deliverables relevant to the allocated work/s area and make sure that usable Time and Motion – CVA information is issued to the delivery team. Daily Installation and Efficiency requirements must be issued to the relevant members of your team.
- Ensure that Method Statements, Risk Assessments and DSTI Schedules are issued to the relevant team members for site implementation. All site contract information must be up to date with correct drawing and materials scheduling in place. Tooling & Access requirements need to be sourced per the delivery schedule.
- Ensure that all Method Statements & Risk Assessments are in line with company HSE/QA-QC procedures and suit the appointed Consultants requirements This information must also be recorded on a usable platform. Make sure that all compliancy statements, testing and commissioning, spares, warranties, and delivery period requirements are upheld at all times. (Initiate Schedules with Project Engineers)
- Manage a procurement/long lead item schedule in tandem with your Project Engineers indicating delivery dates and the status of the pending material/s deliveries and follow up delivery dates whilst recording any issues which may impact programme delivery. Maintain the site delivery requirements in line with the primary programme ensuring that the relevant materials are on site to complete your work areas per the programme requirement.
- Control the dissemination of contractual documents (drawings/contracts/specifications) – usable drawings and information must be issued to the relevant site team members to be able to carry out works per the specifications and contract requirements within the time frame of the programme. Changes to the scope of work must be forwarded to the Project Engineers & Commercial Team immediately.
- Uphold daily site records indicating internal and external constraints, materials and delivery requirements and maintain the works flow process. Audit all site requirements and maintain minimum site resource, consumable and tooling requirements. Interface with Sub-Contractors and Vendors to maintain delivery date requirements.
Quals and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. NVQ vocational certificates are also acceptable. Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields a plus.
- Minimum 7 years MEP construction industry experience, with preference for sustainable building practices.
- At least 2-3 years in a senior role within the UAE, with knowledge of local regulations.
- Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) desirable. Agile, Lean methodologies a bonus.
- Technical certifications in MEP engineering specialties beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork in multidisciplinary teams essential. Must adapt well to varying project requirements.

- Make sure that all Design, Engineering and Installation details are checked for compliance, usability, functionality and are in line with the overall design specifications and requirements. Make sure that Testing & Commissioning Requirements, Spares Requirements, Warranty and Defect Liability Periods are recorded and agreed with the relevant suppliers before issuing PR’s and releasing LPOs.
Quals and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required with a minimum of 8 years’ experience.

Role:
Responsible for all aspects of one project, including client interface, HSE, human resources, planning, scheduling, engineering development, production, delivery, cost control, quality control and commercial aspects.
Duties:
- Develop and agree the project execution plan with the project team and ensure that all parties have a clear understanding of the deliverables.
- Ensure that the contract is carried out in a cost-effective manner – manage the Cost Versus Allowable process and Commercial interface ensuring that the base contract profit is maintained.
- Ensure that the Project Engineering is managed in an effective manner making sure that the contract deliverables, value engineering and submittal phases are well coordinated and controlled.
- Ensure that the site installation teams have the relevant goals set in place and that the overall objectives are attainable with the supplied information, materials and resources. Utilise marked up drawings and area deliverable requirements to line management. Make sure that all QA/QC documentation is managed and up to date.
- Manage a procurement/long lead item schedule in tandem with your line managers indicating delivery dates and the status of the pending material/s deliveries. Reciprocating programme control from the MEP site team to the Main Contractor must be updated and live at all times.
- Carry out a weekly HSE meeting and record the general concerns and actions required by the relevant line managers and update all sub-contract agreements and conditions of employment.
- Carry out weekly Commercial meetings incorporating Change Management Control, Variations, Deviations, Procurement Analysis and Cost Versus Allowable impact.
- Carry out weekly progress meetings with the deliverable teams incorporating the Cost Versus Allowable information with the actual site performance.
- Ensure that the Monthly Project Reports are accurate and issued per the requirements of the project reporting schedule. Update the CVA with Senior Management and make sure that the CTC and Monthly Costs are Managed in line with the commercial requirements of the project.

A talented Estimating engineer who will work closely alongside an estimation Manager & technical Manager. Working in a team handling tenders of 500 million AED.
