Reporting into the Commercial Director you will take direct responsibility for 5 Live Projects and Teams.

In this role you will be the go between for the Head Office and Projects ass you will manage and monitor all aspects from payments, procurement, policy , procedure, CVR’s / reports & RISK.

You will see issues before they occur and ensure than the % margin report is achieved.

This employer is seen as the market leader within Bahrain for Civil Engineering and only really competes on Building Tenders against 1 other for Design & Build projects. They have a track record on projects from $40-400 Million USD. As a group they have a vast in house capability from Plant, Manpower, Asphalt, Concrete Plants , Scaffolding, Interiors , Marine , Piling , Buildings & Infrastructure

Duties:

  • Establish relationships with all Project Stakeholders, Commercial Leads & Project Directors
  • Contract Administration & Change Management
  • Value Engineering – maximizing value engineering opportunities on the Project.
  • Cost, Revenue, Cash Flow Forecasting and Control.

Do you have the people skills to manage multiples team? Can you lead , mentor and upskill your team.

Requirements

  • Must have a strong grasp and working experience of FIDIC contracts
  • 5 Years Middle East experience on site as a Project Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead
  • Minimum of 10 years  Main Contracting experience within Build & Civil Engineering Projects
  • Degree Educated BSc Quantity Surveying only – Western University
  • CV must show stability and loyalty as the client won’t entertain 5 Job moves in 10 Years regardless of reasons.
