Description

Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be sat across 6 Live Projects totaling circa 350 Million SAR ( Circa *£75 Million). You will have 3 Managing Quantity Surveyors reporting directly to you with each surveyor taking 2 Live projects.

 

 

  • You will be handling a range of tasks from CVR’s, claims management, EOT’s , appointing sub-contractors and liaising  with external consultants and clients.

  • Can you get into the detail, manage people and handle difficult conversations with clients ensuring that they take your next call and that a relationship in maintained.

  • This client are open to hiring an ambitious Managing Surveyor  or Commercial Manager that wants to strive towards Commercial Directorship.

 

LIVE Projects – Riyadh 

  • Commercial Office Fit Out
  • Extension to a Industrial & Manufacturing facility
  • New Build Education Facility for a leading Educator
  • Refurbishment of F&B facilities on a 5 * Hotel

Main Contractor 

  • 50 Years  + successful trading
  • Reporting into the South African Commercial Director
  • 5 1/2 Working week
  • Role is based full time in Riyadh with occasional travel to meet business needs in the region

Requirements

  • In-depth working knowledge of FIDIC / NEC & JCT – Possess a broad contract knowledge and awareness
  • 10 Years experience as a Managing Surveyor / Commercial Manager handling projects
  • TIER 1 & 2 Buildings Main Contractor experience across New Build, Refurbishment & Fit Out Works
  • Degree Educated BSc Quantity Surveying only – Western University
  • CV must show stability and loyalty as the client won’t entertain 7 Job moves in 10 Years
  • Understand its a 5 1/2 day working week
  • Client looking to this person to start before the 21st of January absolute LATEST
