Description
Initially based on site outside Lisbon – Portugal. You will be the Commercial Lead on site responsible for a €100-150 Million Campus for a Major Technology Client.
Role over time will grow into a Country Commercial Manager capacity. With further work awarded the role will grow as will your team. You will have a direct line into the Group Commercial Director and you will take full Commercial, Contractual and profitability for the Region (PORTUGAL)
Can you forge close working relationships with Project Teams, Clients & the Local & International Supply Chain?
This client is well-known within the Technology space as they have a superb relationship for producing high quality projects to fast paced programs. The outlook in Portugal is buoyant with 3 Years secured work and further opportunities being negotiated on an exclusivity basis.
The Role:
- Reporting to the Board
- Managing and driving all CVR’s, risk & reports
- Focus on financial success to meet tender goal set
- Able to make nimble decisions to protect the contract
- Personality to work with people and understand the dynamics of your teams
- Open to travel to meet project needs
Your focus will be on strategy, ensuring financial success and motivating your commercial team.
Experience Desired
- BSc Quantity Surveying
- EU Passport desired due to Visa Process but open to all
- Prior European Experience
- 13 Years Post Graduate experience
- Experienced in FIDIC & JCT
- Clear experience on Mission Critical Projects handling Data Centers for the Main Contractor
- ambitious to climb the ladder and be rewarded for success
