Description

Duties:

Responsible for Health and Safety leadership and training across the business.

Lead a large team of safety professionals covering various buildings and specialist service projects across the UAE.

Lead the Learning and Development function and develop/deliver HSE training programmes.

Visit the various projects, inspecting and checking the HSE performance and Method of Working, ensuring consistency in the approach.

When necessary, instruct corrective measures and actions to ensure HSE Standards are maintained.

Candidate requirements:

Minimum 15 years of experience in the Construction Industry with a track record of working up through the HSE ranks.

UAE Contracting experience preferred, although this may be in the not too distant past and an individual is keen on a return to the region.

NEBOSH attainment ideally or be a holder of other industry/HSE related qualifications.

Possess the ability to work from Head Office and communicate effectively with Senior Individuals in the company but also show the willingness to be hands on, out on the sites when required.
