This role will lead & manage the Delivery Management Systems on a Major Project based in Dubai with an associated construction costs of 3 Billion AED +. Do you enjoy the cut and thrust that comes with major projects ? After an exciting 4 Year Project In DUBAI then look no further !

 

Planning & managing the movement of people, goods, equipment and all associates project facilities.

Working alongside the Head of Logistics you will drive the DMS function on site.

Delivery Management System Lead – As part of the SLT on site under logistics you will manage, drive and coordinate. This means configuring the workflow on site for optimum success and safety.

 

Managing this powerful software and tool to ensure the flow and efficiency works. At peaks this project will have a delivery every minute so the puzzle &  sequencing needs to be spot on to ensure no stalls/ issues occur at critical times be that concrete deliveries, pours , labour and materials.

Used in the right way you can create and drive an intelligent booking form, report on compliance & statistics on site, see visual delivery schedules, handle resource and update all aspects in REAL TIME. The site has invested in number plate recognition and all other forward thinking software to ensure that challenges are managed and embraced in a forward thinking approach.

This role is about being “pro-active” opposed to reactive.

 

Can you pull on lessons learnt from Major Projects  ( Nuclear, Rail, Shopping Malls, Airports ) where you implemented this software and took lessons learnt away.

 

You will essentially be the Conductor of the Orchestra as you sequence all elements from deliveries, lifts , passes , inspections, security and so on.

Before applying 

• Clear strength and experience as a DMS – Delivery Management Systems Manager on a Major Project
• Software experience handling DATASCOPE
• Able to start employment & mobilize before the 1st of August absolute LATEST
• JV experience desired but TIER 1 Main Contracting experience KEY
• Does your CV show loyalty, career progression and success
• Confident, calm and assured in your communication style to the project team & external clients
• This is a 6 Day working week on site and you will be expected to manage your diary to ensure the project is a success
