As the Head of the Quality department for this Main Contractor you will be driving the highest standards to ensure further success for this client.

You will be overseeing and growing the capability for this business as they head into an exciting growth phase as they negotiate 3 key projects worth 2.7 Billion AED across Dubai & Abu Dhabi. These projects are all for leading developers on large scale mixed use developments consisting of retail, leisure , commercial and residential space. Generally high rise structures of G+30-60 storeys.

Managing the quality teams ensuring all parties are aligned on the internal & external standards for such boutique & high end finishes.

You will manage the inspection teams in coordination with the operational teams on site. This means driving quality management systems from documentation through to handover documentation processes.

Working closely alongside the COO in the head office you will be managing and driving internal capabilities and cultural change. This business have always done a good job but now it’s about doing an EXCELLENT job. Do you have the passion, energy and focus for such a role.

Can you strike the right balance of paperwork, systems and people management . You will have clear experience of ISO 9001 in the Middle East for a MAIN CONTRACTOR (not developer).

Do you possess the following experience 

• Managed teams and departments of 35 plus staff from quality managers, inspectors and supervisors
• Minimum of 15 years in a Quality management capacity for a Buildings Main Contractor
• 10 Years UAE EXPERIENCE on relevant high rise projects
• Recruit, appraise and review internal capabilities
• Clear awareness of UAE based developers & PMC’s
• 85% of your working career will be with Buildings Main Contractors
• CV will show clear experience of Major Projects with a strength in High Rise projects
• Civil Engineering Degree from a western university as per the clear client instruction
• Hold a strong network across the UAE client base and supply chain

You will be based in the Dubai Head office working a traditional 5 day working week from 7.30am through to 6pm. But like anything in construction you understand there will be long days and hours in order to get success when needed.  Role will involve travel to meet clients, visiting sites to review potential risks and opportunities
