Description

Duties:

  • Establish relationships with all Stakeholders, leading Client Relationships and Bid/Work Winning opportunities for the Division.
  • Contract Administration.
  • Change Management – managing the process of identification, notification, record keeping, submission of interim particulars and final variations/claims to include pricing and contractual narratives. Negotiating and agreeing variations/claims with the Client.
  • Value Engineering – maximising value engineering opportunities on the Projects.
  • Procurement – including selecting tendering and procurement strategies for Subcontract Packages, with design a key consideration.
  • Drafting Subcontracts (Based on Industry Standard Forms or In-House Standard Forms).
  • Cost, Revenue and Cash Flow Forecasting and Control.
  • Risk, Opportunities and Contingencies Management.
  • Internal Financial Reporting.
  • Managing/mentoring the commercial team on sites.

Requirements

  • Circa 15 years experience ideally with a blend of Sub Contracting and Main Contracting exposure
  • Middle East experience would be preferred although someone looking for their 1st move to the region could be considered.
  • Experience with Modular construction methods would certainly be an advantage also.
  • Degree educated in Quantity Surveying preferred.
  • Energetic, think outside the box type person with an ability to initiate change when required and implement it.
