MW Data Centre Project in Spain is seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor for Commercial package management, cost surveying and contracts administration on a Major Data Center.

Managing the MEP Sub-Contract packages, costs and performance.

Working within the Project Team you will be across the numbers and performance working with the Project Managers on site.  Have you handled MEP Packages worth €15 Million + . This could be Hospitals, Pharma, Data Centers or Research Facilities.

What is essential is that your MEP Quantity Surveyor EXPERIENCE has been on complex, fast paced and HIGH VALUE work relevant to Data Center Construction. The country commercial lead expects you to be able to add value at both pre & post contract stages so you may well be asked to assist on tenders whilst in the head office but generally 80-85% of your time and focus will be on this €200 Million Project.

Responsibilities :

• Cost Reports
• Tender Analysis
• Providing Project Mangers contractual advice
• Managing forecasts & cash flow
• Coordination of Bills of Quants
• Handling all MEP related sub contract matters on site

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying / HNC /HND
• Technically minded and able to read a drawing and relate it to cost and program.
• Clear experience for an MEP Sub Contractor or Main Contractor on High Value Technology Data Projects
• Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
• Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel
• EU Passport Desired due to the VISA lead in times
