Description

Duties:

Responsible for managing the supply chain and selection of suppliers and contractors.

Responsible for putting in place processes for the procurement department and managing supplier’s relationship and performance.

Chair meetings with various Stakeholders/Managers to ensure that clients are adequately provided with feedback and progress reports for various projects.

Negotiate at senior level, identifying, selecting and managing strategic partnerships and leading meetings.

Preparing and presenting reports in a timely and accurate manner and apply category management strategy to manage all categories of the supply chain.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 15 years procurement experience with International Consultants/Contractors or Notable Developers.

Ideally a minimum of 5 years UAE experience so that the knowledge of the local supply chain is thorough and up to date.

Strong command of English communication and writing skills

Degree educated.

Willingness to commute long term or move to the Northern Emirates to ensure a commitment to the growth plan our client has in place.
