This client is a Leader within the Clean & Dirty Water Sector in the UK. Due to a 34% uplift in work the employer is hiring for a Project Manager.

 

You will be joining a business that puts profit in front of turnover. Given there niche, sector awareness and awarded frameworks they are able to cherry pick work. There is an abundance of work in this sector for at least 7 Years so the future is bright!

A small project would be £200,000 and a large at £5 Million but the group is working on 25% margins so its a healthy sector and business with deep cash reserves. 

 

This client is looking to hire a Project Manager within the Bedfordshire Region of England that drives. These projects are spread out generally 90 Minutes maximum from Kempton. Reporting into the Area Commercial & Operations Manager you will take P&L for a project and then more over time.

Responsibilities 

Deliver projects to time & budget

Manage & produce cashflow forecasts , sub contractor payments and achieved KPI’s

Manage Safety , Quality and compliance on site

Place sub contract order and manage external relationships with the supply chain

Manage project engineers and foreman on site

Lead from the front in a professional manner as Project Manager representing the companies best interests

 

Can you lead, motivate and drive a workforce. Can you manage the fine balance between contractual awareness and progress.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications Needed 

  • Degree Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 Years Industry Experience is this sector
  • Prior NEC Contract awareness
  • Strong & confident presentation & communication skills
  • Solid technical & engineering awareness – Able to read drawings & technical documentation
  • Clear Project Manager or Site Agent experience

Basic Salary Range Upon Experience of £55-65,000
