British or Irish Project Quantity Surveyor seeking that first illusive first EXPAT posting in DUBAI !

Reporting directly into a South African Commercial Manager based on a 450 Million AED Residential Project near the Palm Jumeriah. You will be the 2iC commercially reporting into this experienced Expat Commercial Manager.

The following is critical for a positive application

• You understand its a 6 day week / 11 day fortnight
• It is a testing environment so bring a positive outlook to work
• Must have Main Contractor experience
• Degree Educated – BSc Quantity Surveying
• At least 4 Years Post Graduate experience

• Good track record for treatment of staff , cash flow and repeat clients
• This Main Contractor covers a multitude of sectors including residential, hotels, commercial & data.

Responsibilities 

• Cost Value Reports
• Contract administration of the sub contracts
• Procurement
• Managing forecasts, cash flow & payment certifications
• Take offs & Bills of Quantities

 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Western Trained & Educated – Preference British & Irish Passport Holders
• Degree Attested for VISA requirements & processing pre October 2024 – Absolute LATEST 
• Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
• Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
