Estimator seeking a step up or are you a Senior Estimator wishing to join a Main Contractor with a bigger appetite to bid?

This Main Contractor has negotiated 56% of awarded work over the past 12 Months. More and more opportunities are negotiated through collaboration opposed to blind tender submissions.

Many International Main Contractors have left the UAE in the past 5 Years and this has left our client in a strong position as the Tier 1 Capabilities in the region gets smaller!!!

They have a workforce of 5,500 and can offer a range of business solutions from Lump Sum , Cost Plus , Design & Build or open book solutions to clients.

As Senior Estimator can you peel back the layers or the tender. Understand all elements from build billability, logistics , cost and strategy.

Where is your money in the submission as everyone has a strategy be that time, claims or other !

Directly reporting into the Head Group of Estimation (Buildings).

You will be able to lead all elements of hands on pricing a tender from start to finish.
Working within the Pre Construction team you will have all the right resources from procurement, technical , engineers and junior estimators to price up profitable & robust submissions.
As a team this group prides itself on technical scores and being highly competitive in the market. Due to the high volume of work they are generally able to negotiate strong rates / quotes
Can you motivate, lead and mentor juniors ?
Do you see a pricing edge, strategy or something within the tender documents .

Our client are looking to hire a motivated , articulate and sharp Senior Estimator. You will have served your time on site as an engineer before starting a career within pre construction & pricing. This client is ONLY interested in those that have walked the path they are after.

What is expected for a successful application

Solid experience of pricing from first principles in the UAE market
Project experience of tenders ranging from 50 Million AED + Be that Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Retail or Government
Degree Educated – Civil Engineering
Minimum of 5 Years pricing Building Projects in the UAE for a Main Contractor as an Estimator
You be me currently based in the UAE for face to face interview
Good communication skills – This will be demonstrated through out the recruitment process to NSR Associates & by the confidential references our team will take
