Description

Duties:

• Manage and oversee the consultants and contractors cost control procedures throughout the duration of the project.
• Manage and implement all required cost control and audit procedures for all Project Cost Control activities designed to measure the project status.
• Evaluate all variations, additional works, field changes, additions and omission, and incorporation of the same with the Monthly Cost reports.
• Prepare pricing Change Orders and negotiating agreement with the Contractor / Consultants as necessary.
• Report on contractual and financial matters related to all consultancy /contracting companies.
• Liaise with senior representatives of third party, project management, consultant, main contractor and subcontractor organizations.
• Review and verify all contract documentation between the consultancy /contracting companies and any other party.
• Develop, implement and monitor monthly cost control mechanisms, including financial statements and document control procedures.
• Review contractual correspondence to protect the company interests.
• Manage information on take offs of multi-discipline design quantities (Bills of Quantities – BOQ).
• Maintains proper and complete communication with the Project Team on all commercial related issues.
• Provide guidance to project staff on commercial issues.
• Manages project invoicing/billing from the consultant, contractors, and suppliers.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years QS experience with current/recent UAE knowledge an advantage.
• Degree qualified preferred with MRICS membership an advantage. 
• An excellent grasp of English Written/Communication skills is a necessity.
• A mixed background spent with International Contractors/Consultants and Client side would be preferential coupled with a track record of working across a variety of Infrastructure schemes pre and post contract. 
• Excellent command of English Communication skills.
• Knowledge of FIDIC based Contracts from the Contractor/Subcontractor perspective.
