We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor  / Commercial Manager based in the Toronto Region of Canada.

This Global Business has live Projects and licenses in 14 Countries. They are led by clients and offer a non aggressive yet customer focused solution. They have a track record on $50-300 Million Buildings across Foot, Data , Pharma & Retail Divisions.

Best described as dynamic and profitable in what they do!

3 projects are a $40 Million Cold Store Facility, $70 Million Industrial Facility & $200 Million Data Center at PSA stages. All within 3 Hrs Drive of Central Toronto .

 

Commercial Responsibilities 

  • Cost Value Reports
  • Tender Analysis
  • Letting of sub-contracts
  • Contract administration of the sub-contracts
  • Managing forecasts, cash flow & payment certifications
  • Take offs & Bills of Quantities
  • Closing Final Accounts
  • Spotting opportunities to tender and maximize margin

 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying Desired but not essential if you have relevant Construction Background
  • Minimum of 6-8 Years in a similar post
  • Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
  • Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Must have current Canadian Residency and be based in the Toronto Region
  • Able to start employment before October 2024
