Description

Duties:

– Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
– Lead on site execution team and liaise with the Factory in relation to materials, program etc
– Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
– Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
– Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project.
– Procure supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
– Take actions to deal with the results of delays at construction site.
– Liaise with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
– Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years experience working in a Specialist Joinery/Interior Fit Out organisation would be ideal.

Ideally circa 2 years Qatar exposure or GCC would also suffice.

Candidates looking for their first role in the Middle East will also be considered.

A track record of managing complex, high end finishes for Blue Chip clients would be an obvious advantage.

Strong English written/communication skills preferred.
