This Leading UAE based Main Contractor are seeking an SOP & Training Manager to standardize and rollout a training & management system across the group. This organization are turning over in the region of 5 Billion AED plus. They have seen an increase in work by 36% and are being asked to price work at single source. Through long term relationships , a track record of success and Emirati shareholders they hold a strong place in the UAE Construction market.

Due to such significant growth and new talent coming into the business the group is investing to standardize their own internal policies and procedures to ensure that future growth is successful. They are laying the right foundations and training to the group employees so that everyone is on the same page as to ““best practice , first time”. 

Through the nature of the role this demands an energetic and driven character with strong communication skills and emotional awareness. Can you ensure that the message and content is digested and consumed as important from all levels and nationalities. You will be presenting to Arabic, Asian, Western and so on , this means adapting and ensuring that all parties but into this. You will have the utter support and guidance of the Senior Management Team as they see this as critical. 

 

Based in the Dubai office full time (20 Minutes’ drive from the Marina). You must drive to be able to visit sites, training facilities and multiple stakeholders.  You will drive and manage the  Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and our Management Systems to ensure the highest standards of operational excellence. You will be working alongside a QHSE Manager and be responsible for content that can be audited both internally and externally.

You will be managing , driving and owning the internal processes. You will make department heads accountable, you will work with them , upskill and ensure that when AUDITED everything is done in the “best practice , first time”. 

The General Manager of our client is open to this person coming from an Educational / Training arena of Construction where you have upskilled an Adult audience. This person will have a fundamental understanding of what it takes to successfully operate on a building site. You may come from a Quality background and have rolled out Quality Management Systems into the business. What is KEY is that you are memorable and can build relationships with department heads.

 

You will understand policies, politics and execution process to build and keep clients happy and employees safe. This person will be process driven and highly organized to ensure that deadlines and targets are HIT!

How will you develop, change and update the Quality Management System ?

 

Requested 

  • Clear experience in a Training & Course Delivery environment of Construction
  • Exceptional Communication & Presentation skills
  • Able to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions
  • Can you hold court and convey the message across senior construction professionals
  • Clear understand and experience working within construction or civil engineering
  • High emotional intelligence, soft skills and all round communication – able to relate to the CEO as well as the teaboy or girl !
  • Able to start employment before the 1st of June 2025 Latest
