Temporary Works Coordinator driven to hands on drive and grow a department over time

 

Beyond day to day reactive TW activities we need this person to be proactive in up skilling the existing workforce, helping project teams , manage compliance & documentation.  In essence we need a strong all-round individual that has the ability to grow with the department as the business grows.

Temporary Works Coordinator  will be responsible for:

  • Lead coordination of all Temporary Works (TW) activities ready for construction to meet project requirements
  • Ensure methods statements and risk assessments comply with the requirements of the temporary works design
  • Liaise and manage the client, principal designer and permanent works designer
  • Ensure that a design brief is prepared with consultation within the project team and that it is both adequate and in accordance with the actual situation on site
  • Proven experience as Temporary Works Coordinator on other major projects
  • Site inspections and issue of TW Permits
  • Co-ordination of Temporary Works between project teams and designers
  • Manage Temporary Works designs through their full life-cycle to client approval, implementation, use and dismantling
  • Liaise with different design houses simultaneously

  • Communication – can you deal with everyone from the office administrator through to the Country Managers ?
  • Technical – can see issues, problem solve and think outside the box to ensure problems don’t mothball 
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of temporary works design, management, and implementation
  • Travel : Happy to be open minded during the week to meet business needs. Initially tasked with a role outside Hull then covering the UK & Europe
