A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is currently seeking a Design Manager to join their team in Dublin City.

The exceptional candidate will be Responsible for Design, Development & Coordination of the assigned design packages to enable the seamless delivery & execution of the project.

Design Manager Responsibilities:

• •Coordinate the design cycles!
• •Oversee design development!
• •Lead Design and Design Management requirements at tender stage
• •Contract assistance and project close-out oversights
• •Manage of external design teams
• •Assist in client interfacing technical meetings, provide support to the Solutions Engineering team!
• •Report every week to leadership on design progress, blockers, risks, and assignment of priorities!
• •Oversee review process of engineering studies!
• •Conduct weekly meetings with project teams!
• •Enforce and pursue coordination between internal engineering teams!
• •Visit job sites for field investigations and coordination meetings!

 

About you:

• •10+ years’ industry experience working as a Design Manager on large scale building projects such as High Rise, Resi/Commercial.
• •A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related subject (e.g. Engineering, Construction or Science)
• •Main Contractor Experience: Previous experience with a main contractor is desirable.
• •Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and planning skills.
• •Self-Management: Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• •Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €70,000.00-€95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
