This prominent Irish Tier 1 contractor boasts a robust pipeline of projects, with dedicated teams operating across a diverse range of sectors, encompassing Pharmaceutical, Data Centres, Residential, and various other fields.
Engage in a collaborative and communicative environment by actively partnering with project managers and engineers. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive grasp of project dynamics, setting the foundation for successful planning, execution, and achievement of project objectives.
Schedule Management:
- Preparation and presentation of programmes and schedules associated with bids and tenders
- Monitor and update project schedules regularly to reflect changes in scope, resources, and timelines.
- Analyse project progress against the schedule and provide insights to the project team.
- Implement strategies to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to comprehend project requirements and constraints.
- Utilize your planning expertise to contribute to the successful execution of diverse projects.
- Responsible for the preparation of Contract / Project Programmes and ongoing Monthly Reporting of progress
- Develop and maintain project schedules, incorporating all phases of construction activities.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish realistic timelines and milestones.
- Identify critical path activities and potential bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (3rd level) in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of planning experience.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Previous experience in large-scale projects, ideally within Pharma, Data Centre, Hi-Tech, Distribution, or Warehouse sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
