Leading International Civil Engineering Contractor (50 + Years Successful Trading)

This is a complex Build & Civil Engineering Project for a Leading International Research & Science Organization. This project is built up by 4 Projects based on Campus with a total construction Value of €210 Million. The hiring manager is the Project Based Commercial Manager that is looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor to be site based.

Below gives you an indication for the type of work & duties you will be handling on site:

• price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• prepare tender documents as budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• prepare Interim Payment Applications and Certificates (IPA-IPC) to be submitted to the client and re measure and value the work done on site
• Review of Interim Payment Applications and Certificates (IPA-IPC) proposed by S/Cs and re measure measure and value the work done on site
• liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers
• Review of BoQ of works prepared by the designers
• Review calculations for budget updating;

 

Do you match the following:

• Degree Quantity Surveying
• Solid career experience working for a Reputable Main Contractors
• Minimum of 3-4 Years Post Graduate Experience
• Solid commercial exposure & technical understanding of construction projects
• Able to start employment before the 1st of March 2024 latest
