This role presents an extraordinary opportunity for EU Passport holders with 2-6 years of post-graduate experience to make a significant contribution to a project of immense international importance.
Immerse yourself in the world of quantity surveying, working closely with project teams to ensure efficient cost management, procurement excellence, and contractual compliance.
Your Responsibilities:
- •Conduct thorough cost estimations, quantity take-offs, and cost controls across various project elements, including tunnels, marine works, piers, highways, and bridges.
- •Collaborate seamlessly with engineering and construction teams to assess project needs and provide precise cost advice.
- •Lead procurement activities, from preparing tender documents to assessing bids and negotiating with suppliers and contractors.
- •Maintain strict oversight of project budgets, identifying potential cost overruns, and proposing cost-saving strategies.
- •Ensure rigorous contractual compliance and manage variations in close cooperation with legal and project management teams.
- •Actively contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in quantity surveying.
Your Qualifications:
- •Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- •Possess 2-6 years of post-graduate experience in quantity surveying within the civil engineering sector.
- •Demonstrate a solid understanding of construction processes, contracts, and procurement methodologies.
- •Exhibit exceptional analytical prowess and problem-solving skills.
- •Display effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- •Hold an EU Passport.
