Position Overview:

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of this flagship civil engineering initiative in the breath taking landscape of Norway.

This role presents an extraordinary opportunity for EU Passport holders with 2-6 years of post-graduate experience to make a significant contribution to a project of immense international importance.

Immerse yourself in the world of quantity surveying, working closely with project teams to ensure efficient cost management, procurement excellence, and contractual compliance.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • •Conduct thorough cost estimations, quantity take-offs, and cost controls across various project elements, including tunnels, marine works, piers, highways, and bridges.
  • •Collaborate seamlessly with engineering and construction teams to assess project needs and provide precise cost advice.
  • •Lead procurement activities, from preparing tender documents to assessing bids and negotiating with suppliers and contractors.
  • •Maintain strict oversight of project budgets, identifying potential cost overruns, and proposing cost-saving strategies.
  • •Ensure rigorous contractual compliance and manage variations in close cooperation with legal and project management teams.
  • •Actively contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in quantity surveying.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • •Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Possess 2-6 years of post-graduate experience in quantity surveying within the civil engineering sector.
  • •Demonstrate a solid understanding of construction processes, contracts, and procurement methodologies.
  • •Exhibit exceptional analytical prowess and problem-solving skills.
  • •Display effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • •Hold an EU Passport.
