Description

We are working with an International Consultancy in KSA on an iconic Giga-Project, they are looking for a Senior Cost Commercial Manager. This person must be Arabic speaking and will be a key member of the Senior Management Team. The location of the project is in Mecca Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the commercial strategy for a large-scale Giga Project in Saudi Arabia.
  • Manage a Commercial Team consisting of Quantity Surveyors, Contracts Administrators, Estimators and Cost Managers of various levels.
  • Oversee the negotiation and execution of complex commercial agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics and project goals.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the development projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Drive the development and implementation of risk management strategies to safeguard the organization’s interests.
  • Lead the commercial team, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards throughout the development process.
  • Actively contribute to the overall business strategy and decision-making processes as a key member of the senior leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (circa 20+ years) in a senior commercial role and have Middle East experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Must have an MRICS Qualification, member of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors.
  • MUST be ARABIC speaking for this position.
  • Must have worked for a Consultancy and have both pre & post contract experience.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
