Major Technology Project underway just outside Groningen (North Holland)

Are you a Senior Project Planner / Planning Manager that understands how change, design and variations can effect the critical path and program on a €110 Million + Project. This Main Contractor want someone that ideally has local buildings experience in Holland that wants a long term career path.

Our client are a Buildings Main Contractor that are successful in this niche by working with clients and the supply chain in a collaborative approach. They are contractually non-aggressive and will always do their best to work out win win’s for all parties. This is not the sole reason for success but part of the receipt that has seen year on year growth of 22% over the past 12 Months.

Can you handle a client, baseline, changes and communicate with all parties both internal and external. Can you have a honest conversation with the Construction Management team and sub-contractors to report actual versus projected. This won’t always make you popular but if you have the right communication skills then the message will be embraced as you build a close working relationship.

Daily / Weekly Duties 

• subcontractors assessment to program
• delay analysis
• providing support to distress programs that need guidance
• meet and greet clients
• get involved with bids / tenders
• manage a project and manage , monitor and provide all key ratios and activities to management and client

Overview requested 

• Experience as a site / project planner on site for a main contractor or sub-contractor
• construction education & training be that HND, Trade or Civil Engineer
• Solid software experience on Primavera 6 & Asta
• Experience in design and build – building projects ideally warehouses, industrial, data centers , pharmaceutical & commercial projects
• Strong analytical skills, able to dig into the detail and spot errors / risks before they occur
• Confident at client facing and getting the message up and downstream building collaboration with the project team, client and supply chain

PACKAGE 

• basic salary range of €90-110,000 Plus below benefits
• accommodation provided
• transportation & fuel paid
• 1 return flight to home country each month within UK & Europe
