Description

Duties: 

– Contribute to the development and execution of the Projects Department short to mid-term strategic plan to ensure alignment with the department’s strategic priorities, and the corporate goals.
– Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the agreed scope of work across integrated programs managed across multiple contractors/consultants.
– Review contract documents, suggesting changes for planning and programming aspects and the addition of new clauses, if necessary.
– Plan and prepare construction Programs for the Estimation Department.
– Prepare the Labour Histograms.
– Plan the Plant and Transport requirements.
– Coordinate with engineers and provide status updates to Management.
– Coordinate with the Purchase Department to organize Procurement of materials.
– Coordinate and plan resources to M&E activities at the Construction site to carry out project requirements and monitor activities.
– Provide labour productivity to the Tendering Department.
– Liaise with client’s representative to resolve document ambiguities in regards to M&E activities in line with the company’s HSE policies and procedures.
– Prepare Crash Programs and Recovery Programs for approval by Clients and Consultants.

Requirements: 

– Must have at least 12 years experience working in the Construction Industry and at least 3 years in the Middle East.
– Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
– Good understanding of Commercial and cost elements.
– Excellent communication skills and Fluency in English.
– Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
