Qatar

Qatar is an Island located on the North Easterly coast of the Arabian peninsular, it’s nearest neighbour is Saudi Arabia while the UAE & Bahrain are not too far away. Qatar has huge oil & natural gas reserves which gives the country a stable economy due to its exports.

Investment can be seen across Qatar from major projects such as the recently completed Doha Sports City complex & Aspire Tower which held the 2006 Asian Games and the soon to be completed Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre. There are many infrastructure and non-energy related projects underway across the country and a number of huge mixed use developments such as The Pearl, The Qatar / Bahrain Causeway and the Lusail Development.

Qatar is still at an early stage of development and while living there is slightly different to living in more developed areas such as the UAE there is longevity and stability in terms of employment and a more relaxed lifestyle.

Like everywhere in the Middle East, Qatar has an excellent climate all year round, tax free salaries and the cost of living is reasonable.
